On Saturday, 4 July at 4:00 pm, Café Via da Estrela will host the first Literary Picnic of the summer, organised by CLDS 5G Inclusivo in partnership with Penamacor Municipal Library.
The event forms part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of Penamacor Municipal Library and aims to bring people together for an enjoyable afternoon of stories, conversation and community.
The programme includes story reading, riddles, traditional Portuguese proverbs, tongue twisters and a light afternoon snack.
It is a wonderful opportunity to share memories, enjoy good company and spend a relaxing afternoon with friends and neighbours.
Bemposta is the first parish to welcome this initiative, which will continue throughout July in communities across the municipality of Penamacor.
